SILK MOHAIR contains 60% kid mohair, 15% wool and 25% silk. It is the exclusive mohair yarn for the discerning knitter. One does not need many balls for knitting an airy and light garment.
This is NOT a superwash yarn.
Machine wash on a gentle wool cycle, low temperature. Use a wool detergent, no softener.
Handwash is recommended if washing machine don’t have a wool cycle.
Recommended gauge is large because of the halo;
it can be knit anywhere between a worsted and bulky gauge depending on how open you would like the fabric to be.
