Colour Dyeing Study on Mini-Skeins, Instructor Maya
Pre-requirements: Love of yarn and colours!
Participants will dye fifteen, 82m/25g hand-dyed mini-skeins or a total of 1,230m/375g using three primary colours and a triangle mathematical approach.
This workshop is great for enthusiasts who are curious about colour theory and want to create some colourful yarn for their future projects! No worries, all the math will be done for you and explained!
Some of the things you will learn:
The process of dyeing with acid dyes, the importance of the safety precautions and yarn preparation for dyeing.
***Participants will need to bring an old apron that will not be used for any food preparation after the class. ***
All workshops include-
Dye solutions, citric acid, measuring tools, 15 mini skeins of yarn.
Class is limited to 6 Students. Please register on-line to secure your spot.
3 students is the minimum for this class to proceed.
All lessons must be paid within 48 hours of enrolment in order to reserve your space. Lessons do not include materials (unless otherwise specified).
After the class starts there will be no refunds or make up classes unless (with the discretion of the teacher) you are ill or otherwise incapacitated.
